An intense discussion erupted on Skype today where a gentleman claimed to me that the US is an evil country and all Americans are evil because the US used the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. He was very stident in his views, and claimed that Pearl Harbor was an "inside job", presumably featuring fake Japanese airplanes manned by American pilots who attacked the US Navy and US military installations on Hawaii. He stated confidently that everyone knew that the US had attacked itself at Pearl Harbor to give it an excuse to go to war with Japan, a country that he said had already surrendered. I was amazed, but this gentleman said he could produce proof that Japan had already surrendered in 1939 or 1940, and Pearl Harbor was in December of 1941.
Of course, I am still waiting for the evidence he promised.
