I am from Iraq

Another common phenomenon in Skypeland that we encounter is people who pretend to be from country they do not live in, or have never lived in. For example, people pretend to be from Iraq to speak with more authority about Iraq. People pretend to be from Palestine to speak with more authority about the Palestinians. However, quite often they give themselves away with Indian accents, or lack of knowledge about local geography, or lack of knowledge of the local dialect.

One prominent Skypeland visitor who seems to be a bit two-faced has claimed to be from Iraq, but was unable to speak the Iraqi dialect. This kind of behavior destroys whatever tiny credibility they have left...
