Hadiths are more important than the Koran

A man from Algeria came into our room in Skypeland. He said that he had noticed that many Imams rejected material out of the Koran in favor of various Hadiths of doubtful provenance. He had found he was getting into all kinds of arguments about this, and finally stopped going to the Mosque because of this. He explained that the problem is, most Moslems are not thinking for themselves, and this is leading to hate and anger and killing. Ah...interesting viewpoint...
