Justifying the unjustifiable

A young man in Skypeland that advertises his pride in being a Muslim was holding forth on the value of Islam. A lady came in and asked him if it was not true that Mohammed had had sex with a 9 year old, and that therefore the Muslims were revering a child molester. The young Muslim was flustered and admitted it was true.

Instead of talking about the different situation that existed over 1000 years ago in that part of the world, and the difficulty in applying our current modern Western standards to the relationship between Mohammed and Aisha, this young man tried to justify it. He first said that it was permissible to sexually abuse children as long as you had the spirit of God in you. He then said that it was permissible to have sex with children one time, as long as you did not have sex with them a second time. Ah...does not sound too convincing, however.
