A Chinese airhead

It is interesting how certain archetypes are uniform across cultures, and this can be seen in Skypeland. In the US, one of the most common types of women that is encountered in certain social milieus is the so-called "air head". This is typically a very attractive and flirtatious woman who might be fairly intelligent, but somehow comes across as slightly clueless.

We encountered a young lady, KB, who appeared to be a Chinese equivalent of an "airhead" in Skypeland the other day. She said her favorite pastime is "shopping". I asked her if she could tell the difference between Japanese, Koreans, Africans and Americans from looking at them. She said she definitely could since the Africans had so much larger noses (???). She said she did not really like African men and would not want one for a boyfriend or husband.

She also had a conversation about this with another lady from Vietnam:

A few days after this conversation, I tried to ask her some more about the African people she saw with the "big noses". She had clearly forgotten the word "nigger" and struggled to try to remember it. She did not know what to call the Africans since she had forgotten her favorite word for them. Ah....maybe that is for the best?
