There are incredible nuts walking around on the planet. And some of them wander into Skypeland. One was a person getting ready to celebrate Ramadan. He claimed not to be a Muslim, but a "Universalist". However, his definition of Universalism did not fit with any standard definition of Universalism. He was born a Sikh. When he spoke about religion, it was completely confused, and he made almost no sense. Maybe he meant "Unitarian":
''The term "Wahhabi" (Wahhābīya) ("Wahabbism") is considered derogatory and rarely used by the people it is used to describe, who preferred to be called as "unitarians". [1] Some use Wahhabism and Salafism interchangeably. [2] Others consider Wahhabism to be an ultra-conservative form of Salafism.[3][4] Ingrid Mattson, a professor of Islamic Studies from Hartford Seminary, calls Wahhabism a reform movement, rather than a sect.''
He announced that he admired and respected Bin Laden. He stated that Bin Laden's approach was part of Darwinism, and essential for evolution. He claimed that Bin Laden was good for the future of the humanity, and his actions were meant to improve the human race in 1000 years. This "Universalist" argued that suicide bombers were doing the right thing. He believed in peace over killing, but then provided lots of justification for mass slaughter.
He claimed that when the United States was in debt in 1932, it sold its name so it no longer is allowed to call itself the "United States of America". He claimed that Bush was as bad or worse than Bin Laden or Hitler. He said that the poppy plants and coca plants were not natural, but had been created by humans.
When I told him I would write about him in this blog, he started to get a bit panicky, and stated that he was under the influence and therefore was not responsible for what he was saying...
