A young man visiting Copenhagen from China told us in Skypeland that China is a much better country than Denmark. He told us that the living standards for the average person in China was higher than the average person in Denmark. He even believed that the average Chinese farmer had a better life than the average Danish farmer. He also told us that the human rights record of China was not what we thought it was. He was unsure, but he thought that the human rights record of Denmark was about the same as that of China. Wow, that is amazing...
He did concede that there was more pollution in China than there is in Denmark...At least I might agree with that one.
