Freedom, Justice, Peace
Something I have learned from Skypeland conversations about how careful one has to be with the words "Freedom", "Justice", "Peace" and similar words when talking to others, especially young Muslims. These words often do not have the same meaning to them as they do to me. For example, "freedom of speech" to them does not mean the same freedom that I am familiar with from the US Constitution, but the kind of freedom Muslims will experience when the United States has been destroyed by Allah, or all Jews are killed by Muslims, or Israel has been annihilated, or the West has been subjugated to Sharia law and forced back to the 5th century, etc. "Justice" can mean things like Sharia justice, or the death of all infidels or the collapse of the West or destruction of Israel. The same goes for the term "peace"; "Peace" can mean the peace Muslims will experience when they install a worldwide caliphate, having forced all other residents on planet earth to become Muslims or slaves.Interestingly, when asked about what they mean by "Peace", "Justice" and "Freedom", or for a definition, often Muslims will fly into a rage. It seems like a simple question; what is your definition of peace? They refuse to answer, they get angry and belligerent. All I would do is read the dictionary definition that I thought was suitable. They become insanely angry. I think that says a lot...
