Hiney never made personal attacks

One of the supporters of a Skypelander known as "Hiney" (see the blog posts "Want a good argument?" and "Moderation"), U, visited a discussion in Skypeland. U told us that Hiney had never made any personal attacks against anyone; U claimed that Hiney just confronted people with "facts" and this upset people so much that they engaged in terrible personal attacks against Hiney. Funny, I seem to remember Hiney as the "King of Personal Attacks", and therefore Hiney developed a well-deserved negative reputation. That is the reason that people call him "hiney". U is such an ignorant sycophantic jerk that some in Skypeland have started to call him "Doorstop".

U is American, but currently lives in China, and is on a visa. U claims that there are no political prisoners in China because he personally has not seen any, and if he does not know of any personally that they do not exist. U claimed that people in China are more free than people in the US.

U became incredibly incensed about the US Federal Reserve. U said it was an evil private corporation that was not controlled by the US Government in any way. However, a few questions revealed that U knew almost nothing about the Federal Reserve or its history or central banks in general. For example, U had no idea what the Bank of the United States was, or what had happened to it. U did not know why the Federal Reserve System had been created. U did not know that Congress had passed a law to create it and had modified that bill several hundred times in the past. He said that the Federal Reserve was not transparent and that this proved it was evil. When I tried to respond that it had been designed this way to avoid meddling by the legislature, he drowned me out and talked over me so I could not make this comment. I tried to ask U if he knew any countries that had government-controlled national banks and he intentionally "did not hear" or "misheard" the question dozens of times. When U was unable to even comprehend a question like "What other countries have government-controlled central banks", then I should have known we had a problem. Instead, U just ranted and raved over and over for about 15 minutes that I am stupid because I was supposedly asserting that "the Federal Reserve is a government-controlled central bank". U was even more confident that he had proven his point when I was unable to personally assure him that I knew where all the gold that had been previously stored at Fort Knox was currently.

Finally U admitted that he did not know anything thing about other national banks. However, U was quite angry because he said this question had nothing to do with the United States Federal Reserve. U felt he should not be asked about such things since had only lived in the United States and had raised three chldren there, so that made him an expert on the Federal Reserve, and that everything else was irrelevant.

U was told that the material he provided to back up his claims were sort of useless and unreliable since it did not have any references and citations. U told us that he did not know what references and citations were, and felt that they were generally stupid, worthless and irrelevant. U was obsessed with the "Bilderburgers" and spouted pure classic conspiracy theory nonsense. Of course, U stated that all Americans are sheep, I guess because they do not follow U blindly, like sheep.

U said he was highly mechanically inclined, so he was sure he could evaluate the evidence associaated with the 911 attack properly. U said that the 9111 attack was "not an inside job, since the airplanes were outside". U was not open to any discussion or debate, since, as he said, "I believe what I know is the truth, and it is the truth, and so that is the truth". Ah yes, that must make it the truth I guess then. That really settles it, doesn't it?

U told us that NASA has found secret evidence of aliens on the moon in the moon rocks they brought back to earth and that he found this evidence convincing and he believed it. He told us that "this statue looks good to me" and that "If a PhD says it is ok, then I have to believe him". However, I noticed that when PhDs told him that his other screwball claims about China's political system, the 911 conspiracy and the Federal Reserve were nonsense, it did not seem to matter.

With self-declared idiots like this, there is no wonder that there are so many who subscribe to conspiracy theories.
