You are not open minded

A young man from Algeria, who likes to proclaim that he is some sort of "human Wikipedia" because he thinks he knows so much, frequents certain parts of Skypeland. This young man has given himself the name "DJ" and brags a lot about the alleged superiority of Islam and Algeria. DJ likes to spend a lot of time attacking the Jews and Americans and the West.

Of course, DJ claims that 911 was an "inside job". DJ and a "brain trust" of his friends plan to solve the technical problems involved with creating "artificial intelligence" using their laptop computers.

As an example of DJ's incredibly deep insight and analysis, DJ recently tried to show that Jews are evil by pointing out that there are more Jews that live outside Israel than live inside Israel. Wow, that is a really serious charge and makes the Jews look really bad, I guess.

DJ likes to crow about how ethically superior Islam and Algeria are to America and the West. One of his DJ's main complaints about the US is his claim that all husbands freely share their wives with each other in the US, in some sort of huge national wife-swap.

This reminds me of similar charges by that great and revered Islamic scholar, Ahmed Deedat, who repeatedly claimed that he had proof that 80% of all American women have had sex with dogs by the age of 18. Deedat argued that this situation was why the US is immoral, and that Islam, with its polygamy and rapes, should be imposed by force on the United States to correct this problem. Since American men were unwilling or unavailable in sufficient numbers to satisfy American women, Islam would solve this by forcing American women to "fuck strong Muslim men". And that would correct this difficulty, in a very reasonable and ethical way, just as the Prophet himself dealt with similar problems in his time. It is no wonder Deedat was so popular and such a compelling figure in the Islamic world. And it is the reverence for this kind of nonsense in the Muslim world that explains why DJ so easily can believe similar unfounded claims.

Another example of these strange cultural misunderstandings and confusion is provided by another Algerian visitor to Skypeland, S. S is a young lady who claims that all Western women deserve to be raped because they do not wear head coverings. With these kinds of statements, Algerians and Muslims should not be too surprised if they get a somewhat chilly reception by Westerners many times.

DJ has repeatedly bragged that he has stolen credit cards and credit card information from Europeans, and in particular from European women. I tried to ask him if this did not count as stealing under Islam. I asked that if he is as good a Muslim as he claims, why does he not submit himself to Islamic jusitice and Sharia Law? After all, the Sharia Law penalty for theft, even of a piece of fruit or a loaf of bread, is to have one hand and the opposite foot cut off. However, DJ ignored this question and accused those who were dismayed that he would steal credit cards as being "not open minded".

Wow, with promoters and defenders of Islam like DJ (and S and Deedat), one hardly needs detractors. Just let the Islamic supporters speak freely. And make sure that everyone can hear them and understands what they are saying and why.

Addendum


DJ has justified his stealing of credit cards as not being stealing, since it is against "white people" and "kafirs". And according to what DJ has been taught and his understanding of Islam, taking something from "white people" does not count as stealing. Anything done to hurt the "white people" and kafirs is not wrong, but completely appropriate and even desirable.

Of course, DJ should therefore understand that some of the "white people" might think slaughtering a few thousand Muslims is also completely justified and reasonable. If Muslims like DJ are lucky, these "white people" will not decide to up the ante a bit and slaughter a few million Muslims or a few hundred million Muslims or so. Just for good measure.

I also think that DJ does not understand that well over 80% of all Muslims on the face of the earth could be eradicated in about 30 minutes or so. Let's hope that Islam gets reformed and Muslims learn to leave in peace with their neighbors, so this does not become an inevitability.

DJ has claimed a few times that he is a "millionaire". However, we discovered that he was referring to 1 million Algerian dinars, which is around 13,000 US dollars at the moment. Ah yes...
