Nissan is not a capitalist company

Sometimes in Skypeland, we get some amazing insight into how people think, and what they know (and don't know). It can be absolutely astounding.

Mr. Wee Wee Hands (copyright by Luscious Legs the Licorice Lover from NZ), also known as LF (see the blog post "A little gentleman") , works for Nissan in the UK. Recently Mr. Wee Wee told us that Nissan is not a capitalist company. When we asked Mr. Wee what a capitalist was, he said it was "someone who is greedy". Mr Wee Wee claimed that he could not be a capitalist himself or be participating in capitalism since he barely made enough money to cover his living expenses.

Mr. Wee also likes to throw around the charge of "Fascism", particularly directed at the United States or Americans, and gives a similar definition of a "fascist". To Mr. Wee Wee Bits, a fascist is someone who is a "greedy bastard". Mr. Wee Wee Pants defines a Nazi the same way. Therefore, to Mr. Wee Wee Parts, a Nazi, a capitalist and a fascist are all the same thing, and the commercial company Mr Pee Pee Pants works for is not a capitalist enterprise. Wow, now that is deep.

Mr Poo Poo Pants does not share his wealth or income with anyone else, and adamantly does not want to, but he believes that others should be forced to at the point of a gun. He does not think he or his country needs to be asked or required to help the poor around the world, but the US needs to be forced to do so.

In the next breath, Mr. Wee Pee claims that the US is bankrupt and almost entirely owned by China, but he does not make the same demands of China that he does of the US, which strikes me as the height of hypocrisy. If it is true, as he claims, that China has all the money and all the wealth, why force the US which according to him has no money or resources to give charity, and ignore the Chinese with the deep pockets? However, it is not politically correct to attack China so Mr Pee Wee does not do that.

LF said the US is greedy and does not help other countries. Again, like other Brits, Mr. Wee Wee Pee Pee dragged out the complaints about the US and its supposedly selfish immigration policies. I pointed out that the US for decades has taken in more refugees than the rest of the world combined in just one of its two refugee immigration programs, even though the US is only 5% of the world's population. I noted that the non European population of the US is 41% of its entire population because of its generosity, and that is not even counting the 10% of the population that are illegal aliens who are also not pursued very vigorously, again because of US generosity (this is a tremendous shift in US demography in the last few decades, but it has been essentially peaceful for the most part and it is even a matter of pride in the US).

By comparison, the UK population is only about 9% nonEuropeans, but this is still a large enough fraction that Brits complain bitterly about it [1]. Mr Wee Wee Winky had no comment about this. Ah yes, well he wouldn't, would he, because this evidence makes him look like an idiot and a liar.

Mr. Pee Pee Hands denies that the UK or Europe are in any way socialist as well, which is hard to get your head around. He seems to have o idea about what socialism is and thinks it is completely disconnected with communism and is not related to it.

When we said that LF had the wrong definitions of capitalism, socialism, communism, fascism and Nazi ism, and told him what we were taught in school and what is written in dictionaries and other books, Mr. Pee Wee Bits objected and claimed that we are using words that are too big for him. Mr. Dinky-Do Hands seems to have a very simplistic and childish view of political and economic systems that is wrong in many particulars. We said that in capitalism, the means of production are in private hands, and that in communism the means of production are in government hands. LF just didn't seem to understand this at all and thought it was too confusing.

Dictionary definitions of capitalists include:

From these definitions, it is clear that not only is Nissan a capitalist enterprise, but Mr Wee Wee Parts himself is a capitalist since he participates in the system and derives benefits from it.

However, what is even funnier to me is that Mr. Pee Pee Warts likes to subscribe to certain politically correct ideals, but ignore others. He certainly is in favor of redistributing other people's wealth, but not his own of course. In the modern politically correct arena, nice soft union jobs like the one Mr. Poo Pee Pants has are not supposed to be taken by whites, particularly white males, and especially by white male Anglo-Saxons like Mr. Wee Wee Winky. The bane of the world is supposed to be those who are white, especially with blond hair and blue eyes, according to President Lula of Brazil and others. Robert Reich, former US Labor Secretary, said the funds in the stimulus bill for rebuilding roads and bridges and other US infrastructure should not be spent on hiring white males and educated people for these jobs since it was unfair. The entire basis of Affirmative Action in the US, which is extremely generous and politically correct and has been in place in the US for decades, is something that Brits seem to be completely unaware of. Mr Wee Wee Pants himself would not be allowed to keep his current job, or any job which someone who is poorer or browner could do, even if they could not do it nearly as well as he could. He just ignores this, but that is a very important part of the politically correct agenda he promotes. However, he only likes those policies that disadvantage others, never himself.

Many Brits appear to have a cartoon image of the US in their minds, and then they attack this strawman. However, these strange ideas they have about the "great evil US", the "Great Satan" bear almost no resemblance to reality, and are closer to Islamist Propaganda. For example, I have a close friend who is a law professor in the UK. He tried to get a job as a law professor in Canada and the US, but since he was not female, he could not get a job and had to go to a place that was less politically correct than North America, like the UK, so he could even get a job as a law professor because he is a white Anglo-Saxon protestant male.

The "greed" that brought down the world economy was really driven by the lax regulatory environment of the UK, not the US. AIG located its derivative trading group in London so it could get around the Glass Steagall Act in the US, which would have restricted this activity. Somehow it is always easier for the Brits to point the finger at someone else and complain, even though their claims are comically and dangerously incorrect.

In a discussion of what should be done with the Guantanamo Bay prisoners, numerous ideas were floated. The "brilliant" Mr. Pee Wee Pee Pee confidently stated that these prisoners should be placed on an island with a desalinization plant to supply their water. However, he shut up fairly quickly it was pointed out that Guantanamo Bay was on the island of Cuba, and the water there is supplied by desalinization plants.

When their lack of understanding is pointed out to these Brits like Mr. Pee Pee Hands, they become haughty and abusive and angry. It is much easier to blame everything on the unseen selfish, evil and greedy Americans, rather than look at themselves and their own country and their own policies.

And that is the main reason the UK is sliding towards Third World nation status.
