I left during Reagan in 2001

One can meet the most amazing people in Skypeland. A German lady who had moved to the US in the early 60s and moved back later went on and on about all kinds of nonsense. She claimed the problem with the US is that "America thinks it is a white country but it is not". She claimed that she had left the US during Reagan, but she had earlier said that she had left in 2001. She claimed that there were no homeless people in Germany. Interestingly,
http://www.share-international.org/archives/homelessness/hl-abGermany.htm
states that there are at least 860,000 homeless in Germany.

When I pointed out that in Germany one had to register with the police when they moved, she agreed. Then a minute or two later she claimed it was not true and she did not have to register. Over and over she would make one claim, and then a minute or two later would deny she said it. The problem is, with a room full of people, if you say something ridiculous, it is a bit difficult to deny you just said it. People have a tendency to remember what you said.
